Privacy-sensitive data, or personal data, is processed via the website and webshop of Stichting Cellosonate Nederland (www.cellosonate.nl) and the project website Waagstuk (www.waagstuk.nl). We consider the careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us.

  • Delivering physical goods (CDs, books, sheet music) to your address.
  • Managing your (optional) customer account in our webshop.
  • Sending our digital newsletter from Waagstuk (only if you have given explicit consent for this).
  • Being able to contact you if this is necessary to carry out our services.
  1. Which Personal Data Do We Process?

When using our websites and webshop, you leave certain data with us. Depending on the features you use, we process the following data:

When placing an order (as a guest or via an account):

  • First and last name
  • Address details (for shipping and billing)
  • Phone number
  • E-mail address
  • Payment details

When creating an optional customer account:
If you choose to create an account, we store your (encrypted) password and your order history in addition to the order details mentioned above. This ensures that you can check out faster during a next visit and view your previous purchases.

When subscribing to the digital newsletter:
The foundation sends digital newsletters about projects and performances from the website www.waagstuk.nl. If you sign up for this (via the website or during the checkout process), we store your email address and potentially your name. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter.

  1. Provision to Third Parties

We only provide your data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We share data with the following parties:

  • Payment Service Provider (Buckaroo): We use Buckaroo to securely process payments in our webshop. They process your payment details and act as an independent data controller for this purpose.
  • Postal and Delivery Services: To physically deliver your order (CDs, books, sheet music), we share your name and address with the carrier (for example, PostNL or DHL).
  • Newsletter Software: To send the newsletter via Waagstuk, we use a secure external email marketing provider.

We never sell or rent your data to third parties for commercial marketing purposes.

  1. Security and Retention

We take strict security measures to limit misuse of and unauthorized access to personal data. Our websites use a secure SSL connection.

We do not store your personal data longer than strictly necessary. For the financial administration (invoices and payments via Buckaroo), we apply the statutory fiscal retention period of 7 years. Data linked to a customer account is retained as long as the account exists; you can have your account deleted at any time.
